VR Hub

In 2019, the introduction of the virtual-reality (VR) hubs at our training centers in Frankfurt and Munich marked the start of the next wave of innovation in flight attendant training. Since then, the approximately 20,000 Lufthansa flight attendants have been completing a part of their annual training in a virtual aircraft cabin.

The participants are given VR glasses that immerse them in a realistic training situation. A virtual assistant guides them through the course. You can thus run several training courses in parallel without a loss in training quality.

This was just the first step: to meet our customers’ demand for modern and efficient training, we are already working on additional digital and virtual training courses. Our experts would also be happy to develop tailored virtual training solutions for you and help you implement them.
